Not much to be honest

Everything was amazing, clean , spacious and beautiful, after a tough few years this was our first time taking our children away and it didn't disappoint! Would love to come back in the summer when the pool is open! There is also a playground close by which was a bonus!

I can't think of a thing!

It was very clean beds lovely .. the owners are lovely and helpful …. Lovely restaurants near by ..beach three quarters of a mile away in car ..lovely ..also went to sand banks beautiful there …

The gate as you come into the house wouldn’t shut properly..also television needed to be able to watch normal telly ..loads of aerial plugs but no aerial wires …and should be Bigger in the living room .. Auger takes ages to heat up ..lovely place but needs tweaking ….. but we did have a lovely stay

We stayed for a weekend to celebrate an early Christmas with family, and it was just perfect. The cottage had plenty of space for the 6 of us whilst being super cosy. Everywhere was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The hot tub was a huge plus, despite being freezing cold outside and the middle of a storm! The location was ideal, right in the middle of the new forest with lots of places to visit and cosy pubs. Julia and James were great hosts, always responded quickly (even when we had a slight issue with hot water, they replied within minutes with the quick fix and we had the hot water back in just half an hour). Couldn’t recommend this place enough, We wish we could have stayed for longer!

really lovely property. clean and easy to use. having ensuites was really helpful. garden and pool and hot tub great addition.

low door frames, so need to remember to duck! each low beam has signs to remind you to mind your head.

Beautiful thatch cottage that easily accommodates eight adults. Everything was spotless inside and outside the house, unfortunately we didn’t have the best weather so the pool remained covered but we did make use of the hot tub which was lovely. James was an amazing host, so welcoming and very prompt to reply if we had any questions or problems. The coffee machine didn’t work and it was replaced the same day with a new one! The beds were wonderfully comfortable with 100% cotton sheets etc.

The house was well presented, comfortable and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend away. The hot tub and swimming pool were an excellent bonus too. The hosts were easy to contact and very friendly as well.

Beautiful old property with added benefit of a lovely outdoor pool and hot tub. Each room benefitted from an en-suite bathroom, plus a further ground floor bedroom and wet room on the ground floor. Very comfortable sleeping and living room and kitchen equipped with all you need for a short stay. Weather prevented us making full use of the garden, but a really great size with BBQ for better weather stays.

We had a few problems with lack of hot water, but the owner was very quick to respond to provide a temporary fix. Wi-Fi a little bit restricted in some of the rooms due to the thickness of the old walls and smart TVs subsequently not all working in each bedroom.
