DOMUS DEIANAS - two comfortable apartments in Cagliari

It is very spacious, with lots of light, with two terraces, lots of amendments, decent furnishings, nice location and responsive and nice host. Beds were really comfortable , we had umbrella for the beach, some welcome treats and water which was really kind. There was also coffee leftover from the previous guests which was a bonus :) we left a box for the next guests too

Most of all- the lack of control of the A/C. It is remotely managed by the host and you can arrange operational hours with them, but you don't have full control. Most of the time it works for just 10-15 minutes and then turns automatically off which is horrible during summer, especially if you don't have fixed schedule for the stay. You also have to throw the tube with condense water of the AC yourself. Also, it's a bit neglected, it used to be fantastic apartment when new, but now there are some not nice things like dirty refridgerator, mold on the bathroom ceiling and stuff like this. Also it says free parking, but there is no private parking spot, it's just free to park in the neighborhood... in case you find a spot :) The sheets were also not ironed, although they were clean. As a whole the place looked clean, but it didn't feel so, when we got in the cealning staff just finished and it smelt like old wet tissue.

Had most facilities.

Tiny washing machine to go with next to nothing for drying. Two 1.3mtr wires on front balcony does not allow much drying. Had to hang clothes over chairs. Would be nice if there was a line or two strung across the rear balcony where the washing machine is instead of carrying dripping clothes through the appartment. Cooking facilities? Could do with a microwave, they are not dear these days.

Comfortable place to stay

Bookings.com listed this as ‘parking available’ but there is no parking. Only parking is on street and was never available. Also no WiFi

Spaces flat, friendly host.

On Booking it says check in is from 2 pm in reality from 3 pm. Dust everywhere on furniture, dishes was not washed properly. Location wasn’t good.

Great aesthetics and good amenities and great host

A bit far off from the city centre but it’s manageable as the bus stop is near by

The property was really clean, and beautifull! The host was really nice and helpful.
