The location in the old town is good and accessible, however this particular street looks very degraded and hosts a lot of homeless.

The apartament has mold in it and you can feel the heavy smell from the beginning and especially in the morning after a few hours with the windows closed. Because of that it doesn’t feel comfortable at all and we had a constant feeling of getting sick. Other than that it seemed clean but the mold inside the walls makes it a bad choice even for one single night.

Location was great, was one or two streets away from busy nightlife so was very conveniently located to everything. However it is a quiet backroad with not a lot of foot traffic, however is fairly well lit. As a single female I didn’t feel particularly unsafe. The room had everything I needed so was ok for one night as I had to book it unexpectedly last minute on the day

The advert for the property makes it seem like you’re renting an apartment. And one of the answered questions on the advert says you get the whole property to yourself… this isn’t true. In a building block, this is one full apartment with main locking front door which has then been converted into 3 just bedrooms. What I was given was a basic hotel room essentially. It was a bedroom with a fridge and microwave inside it, with an en-suite. The advert is also misleading as shows photos of a bath and I had a shower. So this isn’t an apartment you’re renting - it’s a hotel room. The bathroom was small. Very tiny toilet area. Also it states the property is quiet on a quiet road - this fails to mention the gay nightclub which is two doors away and was still very loud until approx 1am on a Tuesday night

The location was good in the center, but the surrounding was not clean and had a very bad smell.

The location is super central, you're 2 steps away from the old town, right next to a grocery store, in a place where you can get anything delivered via Glovo. Everything was clean and well maintained, the housekeeping ladies were super friendly when I got to meet them and the owner was fairly easy to reach via booking if needed. The little electric oven was super good for reheting leftovers and we used it nearly daily. Overall, stay was good but it would be nice to have a few more amenities. If I come back with a group of friends that big, I might stay there again.

The outside is a bit ghetto - expected in that area of Bucharest, and not the owner's fault, but it can be a bit scary if you're not used to it. The bed we got was super hard at first, but then we got a mattress topper from the housekeeping ladies from a different, empty room and also talked to the owner who said he'll be buying a new topper for that bed. The other two beds were kind of hard as well, but some people might like them like that. The building being very old and in that area means there were a couple kitchen roaches outside and inside, and we're not sure if they were coming through the windows we kept open or somewhere else. The single apartment with the blue tiles looks a lot better in the picture, so cheers to the photographer, because in reality the wallpaper used there was a bit disappointing. There wasn't a full set of cuttlery for 4 in the 2 bedroom apartment, and when we got there there was no oil, salt and pepper, which I think are the bare minimum when you offer a place with a kitchinette. There was only body wash and hand soap in the bathroom, no shampoo.
