The breakfast is really needs to be supervised and staff need to learn how to make a boiled egg and toast without burning it. 😡

I booked a self-catering apartment. It was incredibly clean and modern. The rooms are spacious. It is the perfect place for a family to go on holiday. The self-catering apartments are well equipped with everyone one needs, including a patio braai. The restaurant also serves exceptional food.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable Overall we had an awesome stay I really like that all the rooms have an outdoor patio so very airy The staff were friendly Rooms were cleaned on time daily The location is perfect

The breakfast is very limited The wait for breakfast was very long however the staff did try to make sure the next day orders were in before we got to breakfast. Appreciate the effort. The on site swimming facilities is limited and there is no space for kids to play or a place to relax by the poolside. Hot water when showering is an issue

We booked a stay at the Beach Wood Hotel starting January 1st, 2026, for two days before returning home from our Holiday. We have stayed here previously, and while this used to be a high-end boutique hotel, it is clear that this is no longer the case. We are a family of four and booked a self-catering unit at a cost of 4k per night. At that price point, one expects a certain standard of service, yet we arrived only to be told that the entire staff was not working as they were recovering from New Year's party the night before. My irritation grew when I realized there was no security available in the day, allowing people from the street to walk in and use the hotel pools we had paid to enjoy. On our second day, I requested housekeeping at 12:00, only to be refused because self-catering units are allegedly only cleaned every three days, despite our booking being for only two days. They said they left a piece of paper in the room explaining this, but this was never advertised when we booked the unit. I had to fight with management just to get our room cleaned. To make matters worse, on the morning we left, we discovered our trailer had been moved to the other side of the hotel without our permission. The service and atmosphere have deteriorated significantly; it was a very disappointing experience, and we will not be returning.
