"Great place for countryside walks and close to Newport and Cardiff."

Very nicely decorated and well equipped house. There was a small local shop and a few takeaways within walking distance. Also not far to walk into the Cwmcarn forest. Ruth was a responsive and helpful host.

Very clean, everything we needed was there.

Not a complaint but a door mat inside would have been good to wipe our feet when we were coming in from a rainy day.

Lovely house, someone had made the effort to make the property look nice rather than just magnolia the walls. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of space downstairs for living rooms etc. when I had a query about that the check out time was the host came back to us within minutes.

Very comfy beds and furnishings. Great location for CwnCarn mountain. Warm house!

Parking. The space on the road outside was often used by others - not something that can be fixed and not the fault of Ruth... :-)

Lovely clean and light lots of little touches that made it very comfortable to stay there,a nice welcome pack when we arrived with fresh milk bread and welch cakes , lots of nice shampoos and lovely fresh clean towels plus a great selection of kitchen equipment,a great place to stay 👍😎

so well presented, beds were comfy, lots of space. The host communicated very well and left some bread, jam and milk for us which was a nice touch.
