Clean and well good bus connection to Newport. Ruth and team are great in communication and ensured that the cottage had everything we need for a comfortable stay

The hosts were exceptionally hospitable and responded quickly to any messages. The property was a perfect getaway for what I had needed. Will be returning for sure on the next visit.

Given the local surroundings and mountain biking, it would be beneficial for something suitable to prevent marks and dirt inside the property.

Beautiful home from home minutes from Cwmcarn Forest. Dog friendly, exquisitely decorated, relaxed outside garden space, and the kindest host. I left a white blouse and on the same day, Ruth called me, washed my blouse and made arrangements to send it back to me. Ruth and Ty Pentref are one of a kind. Caring, positive, and genuine. We also booked late to escapr delayed byilding work and were fortunate that Ty Pentref was available as delightful dog friendly places to stay are rare. Thank you for providing us with a place of refuge, safety and warmth.

Location, house,tastefully done interiors, amenities,quietness,hospitality. The hosts were excellent and extremely kind to us when we landed at their doorstep after 48 hours of no sleep, battling visa issues and a long night drive from Heathrow. We were tired dreary travelers and Ruth and her family restored our hope in humanity! Thank you, you blessed family!
