Casa D`Avó Celina

La casa es un remanso de tranquilidad. Fue una gozada poder disfrutar de las terrazas para desayunar y cenar. La cama de la habitación grande es muy cómoda y amplia. Se puede aparcar en la propiedad contigua. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para pasar cómodamente unos días (lavadora, plancha, aspirador, lavaplatos, secador de pelo). Ângelo fue muy amable y su mujer nos recibió con una tarta riquísima hecha por ella. Sin duda repetiríamos de nuevo, ha sido un verdadero placer poder disfrutar de unas vacaciones aquí.

Nada, todo estuvo perfecto. Lo único quizá especificar como tal que se cobra la tasa de turismo en efectivo en el alojamiento aunque desde booking avisan que es posible que esto ocurra.

Refiro-me ao que já disse noutras avaliações que escrevi sobre este alojamento de alto nível. É magnífico, a minha escolha na Madeira pela sua localização, qualidade do serviço, disponibilidade, respeito pela privacidade e, acima de tudo, pelas qualidades humanas do Ângelo. Sempre dez estrelas.

As férias acabaram, ha, ha, ha

Spokojna okolica. Piekny gaj bananowy wokol domu i widok na ocean. Mozliwosc zaparkowania wynajetego auta na posesji wlascicieli (dom obok). Dwie lazienki, dwie sypialnie, dwa tarasy, zacienione winorosla patio przed domem. Sklep czynny siedem dni w tygodniu w centrum handlowym tuz obok, przystanek autobusowy kilka krokow od domu. Dobry kontakt z wlascicielem.

Duza ilosc mrowek w kuchni, mi to akurat nie przeszkadzalo, moze komus tak. Poza tym wszystko na plus.

We had a wonderful time at Casa d'Avo Celina. We got a warm welcome from the owner who handed us the keys and had left a lovely welcome cake and a bottle of Madeira wine for us. The house is very comfortable and the outside space is just amazing with different places to sit and relax. We had rented a car and all the best hikes are easily reached by car. The bus stop is around the corner and within 20 minutes you are in the center of Funchal, saving yourself the trouble of finding a parking spot. There is a shopping center close to the house with a very well equipped supermarket, which was super helpful too. We hope to be back one day and can warmly recommend this lovely home.

Just spent a wonderful week at Angelo's amazing house. It's hard to add something new to what has already been said. But... here goes Fully equipped with everything you'll need. Great shower! (we didn't use the second shower downstairs). There's nothing worse than a bad night's sleep so it's great when you discover a really comfortable bed! Too marks Angelo! If you're visiting to walk Levadas, there's a great walk heading west from the shopping centre, or walk into Funchal via the urban lavada passing through santa Rita firm the hill and get a taxi back (€7/8 via the bolt app). Check out the alltrails app for more levada walks, there are lots! Tap water is drinkable so no need to carry bottled water from the nearby supermarket in the shopping centre. Coffee machine is a dolce gousto. Food deliveries available via Bolt food app. Other than shopping centre eateries, there's not much more available locally without heading further afield. We ate at the restaurant in the Old radio station, twas OK but nothing amazing. Wonderful outdoor spaces with multiple seating areas surrounded by Angelo's many banana trees. We were lucky enough to receive a few samples - damn good! 🤩 Can't add much more, if you see this house available, book it! It won't remain available for long and I truly doubt you'll get a better house for the money. Cheers Angelo! 🍻

Location excellent for visiting Funchal & east of the island. Large supermarket / shopping centre 2mins walk away. Secure parking at hosts house next door. Comfortable accommodation in a quiet are. Hosts were attentive - lovely home made cake, wine & bananas much appreciated.

The stormy weather!!

Perfect place, perfect house, perfect garden, perfect location I can only say good things about this place. It was also pleasure to meet Angelo and his family. I hope we can return back one day.

Very good place ... quiet and calm at night, not far from the shopping center , the owner provides a parking space at his place - close by and very safe. Excellent house with everything you need during your vacation.... Don't worry about charging your phones and morning coffee (there is a coffee machine). Fresh cake and a bottle of Madeira made by the owners will simply conquer you! We were very pleased, pleasant memories and want to come back again) Very recommended
