Villa de Mer Bali

Owner was sooo nice. During my stay, there was a major power outage. I was about to head to a nearby supermarket to buy a flashlight, but there were none available. Just when I was troubled, the owner kindly provided flashlights to each villa, which was incredibly helpful. There’s a Japanese supermarket called Papaya nearby, which was very convenient and well-stocked. The coffee at a nearby café called Rojima is also great—perfect for a morning coffee spot. Traffic to Kuta Beach can be heavy, so I recommend renting a motorbike. This place is perfect for those who prefer a relaxing stay with a private pool rather than going out at night. We bought alcohol at the supermarket and enjoyed a relaxing time by the pool.

I liked the location, not too much in the busy streets of Kuta/legian but not far from everything. I also liked how it had a water filter, microwave as I had a baby.

Great Villa for the group we had, 2 families of 6 staying next door to each other. Great that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Towels and house keeping were daily and the staff were lovely. Took us a little while to get our bearings as there was a lot around the Villa that we didn’t explore during our short 7 day stay. Great restaurants, convenient supermarket and lovely coffee shop.

One air conditioner in upstairs bedroom was not great. Tea towel additional dish clothes missing from kitchen.

The Villa was lovely! It was clean any and all questions and issues we had were addressed promptly. Beds were extremely comfortable, Had everything we needed. Short Grab ride to the main area. A grocery store across the street which was very convenient.money changer just down the street aswell. And as it is off a two way road never had an issue getting transport.

If you want to walk everywhere it is a little further out a taxi or grab is generally required especially on the very hot days. Bring extra pool towels. Only two are supplied but that was no issue for our group.

This villa is spacious with a modern design. The kitchen had a lot of amenities and the staff replaced the water in the water filter daily, so we didn't need to purchase any bottled water. The pool is quite large and deep compared to the other villas we stayed in, and it got cleaned every third day. The towels were replaced every day as well as the rubbish bins were emptied daily. There were plenty of Asian restaurants for dinner in walking distance and a few cafe's for breakfast. It's located about 15min drive from the airport as well as Waterbom, and the Trans Studio Theme Park.

The location isn't as central and is quite a walk to the beach and other attractions, however we used Grab and Gojek to get around, which was very cheap and easy to use, the driver's were all friendly.
