Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. The service is given on a first-come-first-served basis. Off-site parking is also available. Guests under the age of 22 are only allowed when sharing a room with a parent in August. Please note that check-out times remain the same on Saturdays and Jewish holidays. If you require a room with disabled access, please notify the hotel in advance as these rooms have limited availability. The hotel's elevator cannot accommodate wheelchairs. The rooftop terrace is not wheelchair accessible. When booking more than 4 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

Construction outside my room windows was very loud. I was on floor 1, had i known I would have requested a higher floor.

"The perfect home away from home."

Everything! The Maxim is utterly unique. From the minute you walk into the hotel there is a community feel to everything in the best posible way. Welcoming staff, great English spoken, of supportive ideas and top tips on how to make the most of your stay, from volunteering to exploring the county, rooms are all fab (I have stayed 4 times in different rooms) great bathrooms with a bath, fabulous fresh brekkie and 'happy hour' for dinner time. There are soft and hot drinks all day and a lovely communal area to chat woth other guests, most of whom are volunteering and staying for a while. Highly recommended and also - it is right on the seafront!

Literally nothing I would change.
