Brand new bedroom next Camden yard , convention center

Close to where I needed to be.

Saw a dead cockroach at my door.

It had its own bathroom and kitchen. Close to amenities, bars and close to most buses. The bed was comfortable. Room is spacious.

The internet kept dropping, so I was unable to use my phone and the tv in the room could not play a movie continuously either. The owner did not communicate effectively concerning the wifi and left me in the lurch. The kitchen towel was dirty. There was old food in the fridge, probably from an earlier stayer. The cleanliness of the linens on the bed maybe questionable. There was no way to control the coolness of the room. I woke up sweating in the middle of the night. I believe the central cooling may have been switched off. The shower was difficult to operate, I had to guess where the hot water was. Better directions could be used to locate room Uv, as most other rooms have numbers.

Location, location, location. Unbeatable for this price. Walking distance from the football stadium, food, coffee and everything you migh need. I was not planning on spending a lot of time in the room so all I cared was to have my stuff walking distance if I needed to. Check in process was smooth and easy.

The room was definitely not cleaned prior to my arrival. Floors were dusty, found a french fry on the floor in the middle of the kitchen, fridge wasn't even wiped off - I didn't care too much but same in the bathroom with the dirtiest hairiest bath mat, I removed it and used one of the towel instead. I cleaned the toilet seat with a bath rag and soap detergent (only soap there was), no paper towel or tissue. The street and neighborhood is super quiet but on my second (and last) night, one of the person in the unit was having a full day except in the middle of the night (1:30 to 4am) - no talking but doing laundry, moving stuff around in the kitchen and second floor unit (cleaning?). First night I slept good since I had my earplugs on, but I was too scared not too hear my alarm to catch my flight on the second night. Bad water pressure.

Communication with the person managing it was really good. Location was good. Right next to Camden Yard and the football stadium. Felt like it was pretty clean. It's not a hotel, just a house that rents individual rooms.

The room is just that, a room with a bed, TV and small table. The bathroom is not connected to the room and while it was supposed to be "private" someone else definitely used it during my two day stay. There's a shared kitchen area that seemed like someone was constantly leaving dirty pans out, poor ventilation so you can smell whatever is being cooked throughout the house, which was a little tough at times. Someone set off the smoke alarm at 2:30a because they burned something they were cooking. Super narrow stairs inside. No towels provided other than some disposable towels in packaging which was far from adequate. The shower had no pressure and took several minutes to warm up. Okay for a solo traveler on a budget.
