The Boathouse - Panoramic Sea View Retreat, near Town, Marina & Beach, with Parking

Stunning views, beautiful home, great facilities and thoughtful little touches when we arrived. Bottle of Prosecco, tea and coffee basket, washing up liquid, salt, pepper, tea towels, lots of bath and hand towels, the list is endless. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay so comfortable

The steps up to it. Challenging, but definitely keeps one fit and is worth the determination. No effort, no gain.

Wonderful views over the harbour. Very close to the beach as well. Plenty of shops on your doorstep. The property is deceptively big. At first glance the bedrooms look small but they are actually a decent size. We were 3 adults, 2 x 7 year olds and a 12 year old and we were very comfortable. Nicely decorated. Having a cheap car park right next door was a huge bonus, just £10 per 24 hours or £3 for overnight parking.

Those fabulous views do come at a slight cost, quite a few steps to climb to get to and from the harbour and shops. Limited parking outside the property but that multi storey car park is oh so handy! Can be a bit noisy at night being so close to a busy area with bars, but with the windows closed its not so bad.

House was fine and nicely decorated.

Wrong side of town. Local was shabby (as was most of Torquay). Climb to house should come with a health warning, not good for young families or elderly/ mobility issues. Car parking is also a challenge, not good for a large car and not guaranteed. Left puzzled for how they got the furnishings up there? Took a couple of videos of approx. One-third of the steps up/ down but seemingly no option to post on this site but will check again.

Great location and lots of lovely touches in the house. Very comfortable house.

Parking not guaranteed but luckily there was a space available for us.

House was beautiful inside,well furnished,decorated for Christmas Kitchen had all the necessary equipment The balcony was soo lovely to sit out at anytime and see the marina

It was wonderful I recommend anyone to try this place out.

The steps getting to house and back into town and then back is very steep and requires good fitness. But otherwise very lovely views and close to harbour seafront
