Location was outstanding, located in fashionable area and a short scenic walk to City centre. Lovely period property in great condition and immaculately clean. Excellent communication from host.

Didnt find the beds very comfortable and the sofa was very uncomfortable.

We liked the location as it’s walking distance to town so made going out in the evening easier.

The property is advertised as one double bedroom and one extra large double bed. The second bedroom with two single beds and an additional sofa bed in the front room. This is not the reality as the property has only one large double bed 1 not 2 as stated on the house details which is very misleading. Teo adults had to try and sleep on the worn out sofa bed, which was difficult as 2 of the pillows are worn out and thin so your body ends up being as 2 different levels. The way the property is described is very misleading. It does not sleep 6 adults comfortably. We would suggest 4 adults max. The sofa bed, definitely needs an upgrade.

Excellent location for exploring the centre of York. Ebor Place was cosy and perfect for a family stay. Easy walking distance from the railway station and city centre. Good selection of shops and restaurants nearby as well as parks and riverside walks. The recommendation of places to eat provided by the hosts was helpful. Thank you

"Beautiful York house"

Nice house everything you need for your stay. Sainsbury's bakers butchers fruit shop cafes litrally 5mins round corner then a 15min walk into town centre we got parked outside house no problem contact with owners was quick not that we had any issues. Perfect for our 3 day stay.. we used just eat app for takeaway. Monk shopping park is a must only 15 mins drive coukd litrally spend a day there. There's Asda and Aldi there to.. lovely pub there called Pear Inn beautiful carvery. So fantastic location. Definitely booking again in future.

"beautiful house just a short walking distance from attractions"

beds were comfy and owners were lovely

we went when it was quite hot and unfortunately we struggled to figure out how to change the temperature
