House with a view

Fantastic location and views. Local shop, takeaways and restaurant is within walking distance. Home is very comfortable with everything needed for a great stay. Host also provided additional welcome snacks that were very much enjoyed and appreciated. Highly recommend this stay and an excellent and responsive host.

Our house host was lovely!! Jessica's emails and texts prior to stay, and the treats/extras in the house on arrival, certainly made us feel welcomed and to sense her kindness. Our house was spacious and our stay very comfortable. The fish bench with running water by the boat shed, the closeness to Pukenui Wharf and shops, were bonuses

No complaints about the house and property itself.

The location was stunning and the house was clean and there were beautiful little personal touches like chocolates, lollies and drink refreshments. There were condiments and sauces you would expect in your own pantry. Beautiful home well presented and aesthetically pleasing as well.

The lounge suite was uncomfortable to sit on and the view would be better appreciated if you could sit on a lovely comfortable lounge suite. Lucky there were only 3 of us as that's all the lounge suite accomodates. Consider having a bigger and more comfortable lounge suite and provide comfortable outdoor seating furniture in the awesome outdoor entertainment area. The top bathroom shower door is difficult to open and close without dislodging it. There was one thing all 3 of us felt spoilt our beautiful stay in the house and it was that we weren't sure if someone was sending a not soo subtle message to get out of the house! We had been cleaning the house in the morning in preparation for check out and had locked the door at 10am but my sister, whose job it was to pack the car was taking far too Iong to load our car. As we were helping her pack our vehicle, some thoughtless person started revving up a power tool making a hell of a racket. We could tell they weren't cutting any vegetation but was just revving the guts out of the power tool. This was so rude and annoying as none of the surrounding neighbours were out and about and it was the Labour Day public holiday. We weren't sure if this was a deliberate attempt to get us out of the house at 10am because it seemed to be coincidental and as we drove past the shed down below, we saw a woman standing in the shed. That was the only spoiler for us otherwise we enjoyed the comforts of the house. The neighbours were also friendly and told us what events were happening in the community.
