USAbsolutely gorgeous room.
Zero shower pressure. We basically couldn't shower because the shower pressure was so low and pretty much just a trickle. Also, our room had this beautiful little circular room that was part of the turret, but there was no chair in there. It was completely not taken advantage of. Felt like a missed opportunity.

GBSadly we did not get to stay at The Bank House so can't review the room. Upon check-in we were told we were "upgraded" to a room in the hotel. Our room was clean and bright and there was plenty tea, coffee, milk biscuits etc. We also got a robe and slippers each. The pool was lovely and warm and although we didn't use the spa, it looked and smelled beautiful. The bar at reception provided a TV especially to show the world cup games late in the evening for hotel guests which was a nice touch.
The room we received was up in a turret of the building, there was a wonky old set of stairs to get there, part of the bannister was missing which made it a bit unsafe! Our room had very low slanted ceilings so we had to walk round the bed precariously to ensure we didn't bump our heads. I suspect another guest checked in before us probably complained about this room and ended up getting our room in The Bank House. But we were only there for one night so weren't too bothered.

CAThe outsider of the property was gorgeous and the location was amazing.
Our room was dated and a little worn out. To be fair, the price does reflect the condition as this was the cheapest night we had out of 14 days on our trip.
GBIt was an old character filled building but a little tired & dated.
Dust webs on ceilings both in bathroom & bedroom. And a tired old bathroom. Hand soap was empty. Had to use shower gel to wash hands. Curtains didn’t meet & poles were fixed together with tape very unsightly.
