St Mary's Cottage

The cottage was well equipped; the expectations that were generated from the photographs were met; the location is excellent for foot-traffic as well as being convenient for travel to York, Leeds, Harrogate and other local hot-spots; the local people are friendly and helpful.

Parking was a little bit tricky, especially when other cars were parked in St. Mary's Street. The shower tray also became very slippery whilst shampoo suds were draining. Perhaps a non-stick rubber mat would be helpful.

It’s so quiet here only the sound of bird song ! Yet two minutes from the very best cafes and restaurants you could wish for! Perfect location

The mattress might have a topper ?

clean and tidy, loved the welcome package of bread, milk, fruit and butter. The property had everything you need.

the conservatory could do with a revamp

beautiful design of the house, privacy garden, silent and beautiful neighbourhood, close shops and restaurants

change yellow orange lighting in living room was a bit irritating to sit in. except that everything was spot on

We were attending a wedding nearby and the cottage was in the perfect location. Everything as you can see in the pictures. Had a really pleasant stay and would use again, if we were in the area.

Only suggestion...as my husband is disabed a non slip mat in the shower would be good.

lovely cottage with everything you could need for a perfect weekend! Modern and clean with lovely comfy beds. Totally secure for pets if you are bring them too which is a really bonus.

The cottage was absolutely perfect and so clean and well equipped, fantastic location and beautiful village.

It was very clean and comfortable and in a great location, very close to shops and cafes.
