It’s a very large property spreads out the gas and its very well kept!

The beach has a lot of seaweed and some trash on it still beautiful! The bed was not very comfortable

The gardens are well maintained

Unfortunately El Dorado Royale has no value, even though it’s quite expensive, compare to similar 3-star (or less) resorts in the area. The rooms are dated and require urgent upgrade of flooring, painting, furniture, lighting, and everything else. What it’s worse, all the property services are extremely bad, and most of them are not included in the “all-inclusive” deals. There are ridiculous rules to book and use restaurants; the booking system fails all the time and the restaurant hours are very hard to follow and comply with. Even getting coffee in the resort comes with additional charges. The worst (very worst) part of this property is the staff sitting behind a desk. It’s definitely evident they work on commission because they charge (or try to) charge for EVERY interaction you have with them -even to cancel a restaurant reservation. Everyone I talked to behind a desk was rude, avoid eye contact or smiling, and failed to provide satisfactory service. I stayed in a room on my own but my party booked over 30 rooms in the property and they all have the same comments. I hope the leadership of this property change and invest on service training for the staff and revamp their policies. It is ridiculous!!

"Great hotel and great vacation"

All inclusive is a great concept for this area. The variety of restaurants is exceptional. We tried Italian, Mexican and Indian restaurants and they were amazingly good.

Its humid. Maybe we didnt choose the right month to visit, but the weather in general is not perfect.

Bkfst good, brunch excellent! All restaurants were clean and I saw the staff sanitizing the tables as soon as they were clear from previous customers. Restaurants offered a variety of food … but the servings/portions were EXTREMELY, repeat, EXTREMELY SMALL!!!😩
