Central City Apartment 'The Olive'

Great location & very quiet, will be back when the new stadium opens in Christchurch

The apartment is super clean and has all what we needed. It is better and bigger than we expected. Easy check-in with clear instructions. Available Parking place is very helpful too. Central location walking distances to the popular places.

It was clean abd had everything required for our overnight stay.

No outlook or viewover anything.

Great location & can walk everywhere in central chch. Car park great. Beds comfy. Extremely well appointed which is unusual in most airbnbs. The spacious lounge dining & kitchen were the heroes, all faultless. Comfortable lounge furniture was so appreciated. The deck is a fabulous bonus. Kitchen the best equipped I’ve come across.

The bedrooms were on the small side & felt stuffy as the windows barely open. When we arrived the place was extremely hot & airless. Would’ve been nice to at least have the ac on or security windows open. An extra set of keys is needed.

Quiet location was within walking distance to Christchurch city. Parking bay available.

Very small 2 bed/bath unit.

Extremely helpful contact person. Location fantastic, loved 2 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms for privacy. Very light, comfortably furnished, and supercomfy beds. The showers had fantastic pressure and lots of hot water.

Please note these are minor things and would definitely not stop me from using The Olive again. The many fragrant oils were not asthma friendly! Had to shut them all away! Also, the microwave was on shelf just below ceiling level - a bad accident waiting to happen if anyone was brave enough to stand on chair to access. Better option to put inside the large cupboard on one of the shelves. Also TV was stuck on Samsung Live TV so couldn't get normal TV.

Location was fab, the apartment was thoughtfully furnished, with fantastic kitchen facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would book to stay again 🤓
