The stairs are very very steep No parking

The cottage was clean and well set up with everything you might need. The bed was comfortable. All the appliances worked. It was easy to get the key to the property.

Street parking was congested, and I generally found parking spaces a distance from the cottage. This was a downside because it was frequently pelting with rain, and I had paper products to move to and fro from the car. Neither caused me any issue, but future visitors might like to know both that, the stairs are unusually steep and narrow and that, there is a railway crossing at one end of the street which makes warning pings.

Room too tiny, not clean. It's not value for money at £127

Cleanliness, bedding not clean, accommodation too tiny

Cute space and nicely clean and well decorated. Good to have 2 separate rooms and proper double beds. Owner very kind to let us drop off bags early so we could go out for the day. And eventually figured out how to turn heating on!

Unfortunately previous guests must've been smokers which meant bedroom smelt of smoke but not owners fault. Do suggest banning this though or deep cleaning duvets etc. as it really clings to everything :( Kitchen was sparsely supplied so could increase this, and also both bedrooms very sparse, second one didn't have bedside table or lamp for example. so could do a bit more to make it comfortable or more cosy for a staycation.

Lack of mugs and glasses, also get better sized glasses. no bottle openner or ironing board.

Very steep stairs and poor sitting facilities in the living room, but we don’t use it much.

Clean, comfortable, and ideal for a short stay. Beds were comfortable and the shower worked well and the decor was nice too.

Parking could be a problem as near the Station. We did, however, drive about and managed to park each time near the property.

Handy location, easy to find and simple self-check in made it really flexible for arrival time. The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

The kitchen could be a bit better equipped. Also, the stairs were extremely steep (we had to come down sideways) which wasn't too much of a problem for us but would be for someone less mobile or with young children.
