Well located for trips around York. You do need a car when staying here though. Nice and quiet. Loved the hot tub.

A lovely, clean and modern place to stay. Very nice arriving to a welcome pack. We enjoyed the hot tub, keeping it cool in the sunshine and heating it of an evening. Location- about 15 min drive into York centre but that was fine for us.

Great little welcome basket, much appreciated. Interior decor was lovely, really enjoyed wide open rooms. Hot tub was excellent, really appreciated big thick towels. TVs were great. Wifi worked well for us. Kitchen was well supplied with almost everything we needed.

Awkward getting through the front gate at the beginning - luckliy owner's children were on hand to tell us what to do. Enter button is not clear. Also on leaving, the cottage instructions say leave keys on counter but we wouldnt be able to get out if we did that! Thankfully there was a drop box at the gate, but the instructions in the cottage were confusing. Also, using the electric hob was very confusing having never had one like that myself. Took an age to figure it out. Apologies if there were instructions. Would've appreciated little sachets of salt - Would've made a world of difference to our chips! Maybe some greenery in the outdoor space would've made it more welcoming, but it was nice and clean. The decking got very slippy, one of our party slipped and fell badly. Not your fault at all - as every decking I know is slippy when wet, but maybe a sign would help?

location and facilities were great

the bed and pillows were awful. the pictures made it look private. the hot tubs are overlooked with people coming and going to the attached cottages and therefore not private.

The property was amazing. Very clean, had everything we needed, great location for what we wanted, couldn’t have asked for better. The host was great and very helpful.
