"Beautiful, clean and relaxing stay."

We liked the privacy of it all, especially the hot tub being private. I loved the fact that there was wood and fire starters to use, then if more were needed they were purchasable on the property. All I needed was cash to pop in the honesty box and I could take what I needed for the log burner. The cottage itself was stunning! So very beautiful and clean. It was exactly what we both needed for a relaxing time. The log burner was a gorgeous touch and sent me off to sleep while we watched TV. The hot tub was very relaxing and bathroom facilities were beautiful. The big shower head could maybe do with replacing as the water sprays in different directions, but the smaller shower head worked just fine. The bed was super, super comfortable! I slept like a log. There was a dishwasher and washing machine available too, which was great! Over all, we both loved it and my partner was happy with his 30th birthday surprise stay.

It wasn't the absolute end of the world as I understand conserving energy is important, but when we left the cottage and took the key fob with us the heating went off. It was just a bit chilly coming back to a cold cottage. In summer it wouldn't be a problem, but I think with it being winter it was quite cold and the building took a little while to heat up. It's not the end of the world though, just something to be mindful of. I will add though that the cottage had 3 blankets on the sofas, so they were very handy whilst the place warmed up. Other than that, I can't rate the place highly enough!

Stayed in Poppy Cottage- Had a fantastic stay, it was a very clean Moden property and Tony was a great host, facilities excellent and a wonderful hot tub to relax in after a busy day.

Simply can not think of anything we didn't like

The cottage went above and beyond my expectations! It was lovely! Clean and modern with an amazing hot tub! It was well equipped and an amazing place to stay overall!

Cleaning spray could be provided as an improvement but that’s being picky!
