Lovely big house. Clean and tidy. Everything we needed. Host was easy to contact and very open to the changes we had. Great location near shops and close to hobbiton, glow worm caves, Maori village etc. Great base for 6 nights

"Pleasant"

It was central to where we wanted to be and had plenty of room

The chairs in sitting room were very uncomfortable. The TV was very basic. No sky or on demand. Beds hard. Minimal linen/towels. As we were there for several days this was not helpful. Refurbished older house done on the cheap.

Good Location. Very polite and responsive host. Thank you Mei. Roomy home. Games available. Big Fridge and cooking facilities available. Separate toilet and Shower. Comfortable beds. Great washing machine, dryer and clothesline. Fruit bowl on arrival. Wi-Fi available.

Unfortunately, it was a bit dated. Air conditioning only in living roomy and only 1 additional fan available. We had ants in the kitchen and noticed a few tiny cockroaches in a few of the rooms. (House just needs a spray) Damp smell coming from in the built-ins (so we chose not to use them). Shower needs replacing as there is a lot of mould. Wasn't that bad but

"It was a great stay!"

The location is great (closed to countdown and the shopping center). The host was very helpful. The most important thing the kids like is the board game they provide. The communication with the host is also very easy and smooth.
