Summer Breeze - Family Holiday home in Camber Sands

The caravan was very nice. We have enjoyed our stay very much. The host is super responsive.

Such a cute holiday home, plenty of room for us, 4 adults and a child. Fully kitted out, really warm, full central heating, even a little fireplace plus great shower too! Was a little tricky to find, but the communication was excellent and soon found our spot. Theres a convenience store and chippy just 5 mins walk within the complex. Will be back!

Heating was a little tricky to work out. But once on, it was toasty!

Good location as very near beach, and some good facilities for children. Property owner was responsive to queries and helpful. Plenty of parking available.

There was nowhere to hang wet swimming things to dry. Could do with a dating rack - preferable to hang outside, but if the site does not allow this a rack suitable for indoor hanging. The description included pool but this was only available for an extra site charge which was too expensive at £27 a head, including children over 2 years old. This is regardless of length of stay - so if you were staying longer (we had only 1 full day), and wanted to use the 'entertainment' it might be worthwhile. (the site did add that there could be extra charges)

Caravan was comfy etc but could do with some updating. That being said, we only really used it for a base for the weekend and it was perfect for that. Enough kitchen equipment for your needs. Communication with Jay was fantastic and very accommodating.

The caravan needs some updating in places. A few grumpy people on the site, but that's not a reflection on the accommodation at all.

Spacious caravan. Clean. Owner is very responsive. Close to the beach.

Close to the seaside

Not safe for the children. Lack of gates to protect the door/ veranda to let the children out. The staff trimmed the lawn around, but the speed it was done, puts a massive question mark not only on safety of the children but anyone who would leave the caravan with a headphones on. Too fast driving could lead to a serious injury. The caravan was very basic. Dirty smelly cloths and sponge left in the kitchen by the cleaning team. No dishwasher. No soap or warship up liquid.No linen. No towels. We could have all this if stayed elsewhere for the same price. Very disappointing. Luckily we didn’t stay for longer.

Het was schoon. Bedden waren goed. Keuken was goed uitgerust.

Er waren geen stoelen voor buiten. Wifi moet je extra voor betalen. Om bij het restaurant te kunnen eten moest je een kaart voor kopen.

The beach

The accommodation, it was not clean. Hairs everywhere and the inside of the holiday home was old and smelly. The beds were not comfy. No possibility to sit outside. I suggested the owner to refund the 40 pounds cleaning costs. She didn’t responded on that. She only let me know that the cleaner video called her and it looked clean. It was obviously not with all the hairs everywhere.
