It’s opposite an ice cream parlour! Great room with lovely views and lambs outside. Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast.

Keys were stiff in the locks.

Excellent cooked to order hot breakfast couldn’t have done better myself. Location right in town/village amongst shops, pubs and restaurants

Nothing to particularly dislike, shame bar not open but is low season

Location is ideal in the centre of Hawes Plenty of free parking Excellent breakfast Room was large, warm and comfortable Shower was hot with lots of water

Some of the furnishings could maybe need updating but didn't detract from our stay

We were made to feel welcome straight away. The landlord was extremely friendly and funny. He put us at ease straight away. We were shown to our room, which was delightful. He explained about the toilet being a saniflow and how not to put anything but tissue down. The pub was located in a perfect area, basically smack bang in the middle of the village. The landlord talked about where we could eat and local sights to see. The pub closed at 8pm so we weren't distributed through the evening. The shower was lovely and hot and had good water pressure. It was great value for money. We will definitely stay there again.
