A Casa da Meixida

The price is much higher than for Dorma Vigo. The casa is badly maintained: sparrow, rat like noises in the middle of the night between the roof and the ceiling that can wake you up in the night. The wifi does not work. The owner doesn't speak English and you wouldn't be particularly happy knowing that he prepares breakfast for you. The bed was always quirky just because it had some heavy loose wooden parts on the head end that were not fixed properly. Plus there were no other guests. Kinda weird experience. Practically no night sleep. Also there was an overwhelming smell of mold since, I guess, the casa was not properly heated during the rainy period. All the bad features in one place.

Het ontbijt was een tegenvaller. Geen vers brood, de ham leek oud, brokjes cake op een bord. Kapotte douche, hele kleine televisie aan de muur.

Sehr netter Gastgeber. Gute Ausstattung. Liegt direkt am Jakobsweg. Einkaufsmöglichkeit bei Tankstelle und Restaurant in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Eier zum Frühstück waren nicht möglich, sonst aber alles vorhanden.

La gentilezza e l’accoglienza del proprietario

Wunderschönes typisches galizisches Haus. Super Lage am Jakobsweg. Familiäre Unterkunft, Frühstück am gemeinsamen Tisch, sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Zimmer sind gemütlich, sauber und haben eine perfekte Größe. Garten zum Entspannen nach der Wanderung. Direkt nebenan eine super Bar, in der es leckere Essen gibt sowie Tankstelle, die kalte Getränke bereit hält. Würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

The breakfast included a lot of options and Gabriella was kind and attentive.

English was not spoken by staff. The mattress was hard as a rock, thankfully we had hiked 18 miles that day on the Camino so we could have slept on a rock. The only restaurant nearby had pretty bad food.
