Raindrops On Roses Bed & Breakfast

Barry greeted us at the door and gave us a nice tour and history of their beautiful home. A warm welcome is always appreciated after travelling. Our room was very spacious and very comfortable. Our private bathroom was very nice to have - we were able to get ready at our own leisurely pace. We had to leave early the next morning before breakfast was served, but Barry left us some amazing Lemon Blueberry cake at the front door. Very thoughtful, delicious and appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Highly recommend!

My sister and I totally enjoyed the raindrops on Roses room, the location and the hosts were absolutely wonderful and gave us a lot of information for a return visit. Would definitely stay there again.

Barry gave us a great story of the house, great restaurant suggestions. Just a beautiful house. There is a piano that my husband enjoyed playing. Breakfast super delicious. The room was spacious. Walking distance to restaurants and the Erie canal cruise. We loved to walk.

Breakfast was FANTASTIC !! cooked just for us !! DELICIOUS!! The Home was in a well established neighborhood. a Beautiful and Elegant home! Definitely recommend Raindrops on Roses ! the Hosts are great people! We will return for sure! There was an optional wine tasting available and that was fun too!

Breakfast was wonderful and the hosts were so friendly and intent to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house was decorated with so many beautiful items and great care was given to surround the guests in music and art.

The bathroom was too small and We had difficulty with taking a shower ( there was no room to put items ) and the tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner were frustrating. The tiny bar of soap was useless. The bed and pillow were uncomfortable. The rug looked dirty in bedroom. The containers hanging on wall in shower were unusable and one was rusted though there seemed to be some conditioner left in one.

I'm so glad I stayed at the Raindrops on Roses B&B while I was visiting Herkimer, NY. If you love history, you will want to stay there too. Barry and Denise are exceptional hosts and made me feel right at home. It's very clean, neat, and chock full of fascinating antiques. The breakfasts were delicious. It was easy to get to all the sights I wanted to see. And I even got to meet Karma, their adorable puppy, which is an honor reserved only for unabashed dog lovers. Otherwise, you would never know she was there. I would definitely stay there again!
