Studio With City And Side Sea View

Location and views from the terrace. Good communication with the host.

The washing machine needs updating. The shower was broken, so the host moved us to another property. Unfortunately the new property did not have a balcony or terrace and it had a strange musty smell. Not having a balcony meant drying clothes after using the washing machine was more difficult.

Tolle Lage, schöne Aussicht von der Dachterrasse, ist eher was für Nachtschwärmer, da es nachts noch sehr laut ist (Musik aus einem Club nebenan).

It is a nice, cosy, bright small studio flat on top of a high block of flats, with its own balcony area but also the ability to use the entire terrace of the building. Great city views, decent seafront views from the back side of the flat. Great location, very central, literally at the start of 'Ladadika' area with all restaurants, bars, cafes. Next to the city seafront with even more venues. It is a very well-equipped flat, with things you don't usually get in studios of this type in Greece (washing machine, microwave, disposable slippers) The mattress was quite comfy, a comfortable bed/sleep. The hosts kindly allowed me to stay longer in the flat due to some work commitment, even if there another booking for that day, which I greatly appreciated.

The location of the air con is not ideal - it is right above the main entrance door, which lets cool/warm the hallway/kitchen area very quickly but takes quite a while to cool/warm the main area/bedroom. This will be costing a lot in bills and energy too. So if they can do anything about this, it would be great for everyone. The water pressure is not very strong all across the flat, something not surprising given how high the flat is in the building. Not sure if they can do anything about it. What they can do is repair some items in the building that need fixing - shelves reclining forward, shower door falling off, there was scale in the water kettle (please descale) As the evening approaches, you get the smell of grilled meat/cooked food from the restaurants below, which is what annoyed me the most. Later in the night, a nearby nightclub plays loud music until the very early hours, even on a Sunday. Having said that, the double-glazed windows do help a lot with insulating some of the noise, but sill the issue is there. To sum up, this is a flat mostly for those who want or do not mind being 'at the heart where it's all happening' rather than for those who want a very quiet stay.

- location: The property is in the area known for its nightlife which we didn't know - the nightclubs are outdoor and go on until after 4 am and are incredibly loud so urge you to bring earplugs or noise cancelling headphones. There's about 3 different clubs all around the building so you can't escape it. - cleanliness: The property was mostly clean although the decking chairs outside had some red/brown marks which were questionable. We raised this with the property who informed it was just wood varnish stains, but it did put me off sitting on them! The shower also wasn't the most clean so we just showered in our flip-flops. Otherwise the rest was fair - no toilet roll. We informed property who came within an hour to provide us with some

Excellent location. Complementary wine and nibbles. Good value for money but wouldn't book this for longer stays.

Not a lot of water pressure in the shower

Very lovely apartment, the terrace(rooftop) was definitely one of the best assets! The location is also very central. Highly recommended, would love to stay once again in this apartment
