Luna Cottage - Grove Road Cottages

The location was perfect for exploring the Christmas markets and seeing a show at the theatre. The accommodation was clean and had everything needed for a weekend break.

The parking was tricky but if you get a space at the public car park at the back of the property, then you can see the car from the property. It does come with a parking permit but we found it better to use the parking at the back.

Was near to town,beds were comfortable, bathroom, toilet was clean.

No heating on arrival, was set on 17 degrees was very cold welcome when we arrived at 6 p m, carpets upstairs were stained, sofa needs a clean. Lovely cottage just needs abit tlc!

As commented by others, sofa uncomfortable and needs replacing; would have been nice to hang up some clothes (no wardrobe, no rail); kitchen pots need replacing; no instructions on how to activate parking permit.

Good value, great location and ideal for what we needed to access the race course. Host communication and details were very good.

Looking a bit tired, cups/glasses in cupboard were dirty and I needed to clean them before use. No sharp knives in the drawer, so I couldn't cut the bread.

Good central location

Needs some tidying up. The microwave doesn’t work the timer select is broken. The washing machine was full of I guess the last visitors sheets? There were no wardrobes or indeed any hanging space for clothes? Some of the carpets were a bit grubby.

Perfect location!

The parking was a nightmare. Says onsite but it isn’t. Rather hard to find and spent a lot of our trip worrying about the parking. Very stiff front door, we got locked out one night. Owner was very helpful however
