B&B at whitbourne

This was a beautiful location with great views. Very close within 10min drive to township, restaurants and main caving attractions. Accommodation was modern, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well appointed with top quality appliances. Would definitely recommend to others or stay again.

The accommodation looks literally like brand new. It's super clean and super comfy. The hosts gave it a nice personal touch with beautiful decorations across the room and bathroom. Included was a yummy continental breakfast with a choice of toast and toppings, fresh fruit and yoghurt and a full selection of Kellogg's cereals. The location is great, only about 10 min from the Waitomo Caves and another 10 min to Otorohanga for restaurants/groceries/fuel.

Nothing we didn't like.

The breakfast choices were a little too sweet for our tastes Enjoyed the fresh fruit and yummy yoghurt

We would have preferred museli to the range of processed cereals provided and some Vogel bread instead of highly processed bread

This was the second time we have stayed at B & B Whitbourne and we were delighted with our room on both occasions. We had the sole use of the bathroom next door to our room, the bathroom has a bath to soak in as well as a great shower. The house is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is very quiet while being conveniently close to the main road. Breakfast is a selection of cereals, yogurt, toast, orange juice with tea and coffee. We felt very well taken care of on both visits and we will be back.

We liked everything about our stay at B & B at Whitbourne. The location was rural with lovely views from every window. The bed was very comfortable, we had a lovely big bathroom to ourselves with shower and bath. Breakfast was continental with fruit, yogurt, juice and toast all self service in our room. We are staying there again on our way back to Auckland tomorrow.
