The Nook Cottage, Parkgate, Wirral

Excellent location, short walk to cafes, restaurants, Indian, Chinese, fish and chips, 3 pubs with food. Parking outside the cottage, convenient for main roads to Chester, Liverpool and motorway and the Wirral Way and King Charles coastal footpath . Beautiful views of the Welsh mountains across the marshes. RSPB sanctuary full of birds. Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen separate from living area. Excellent central heating! Comfortable queen bed and swish modern bathroom! A great find, we extended our stay with the accommodating hosts who responded quickly to our requests. Thank you, you are making it easy for us to stay with you!

Sofa is quite snug, no rug, but I understand completely why not. It was too easy to walk the snow in from outside! More hygienic not to have a soft floor covering. 👍 not a complaint at all.

We loved that The Nook has everything we need for our weekend stay. Really cosy, perfect for a couples weekend making the most of Parkgate. The property is beautifully renovated with well thought out finishing touches.

LOCATION WAS IDEAL FOR US. EASY TO PARK. EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN THE PROPERTY TO HAVE A PERFECT STAY.

NOTHING

The cottage was spotless and well equipped. The little touches such as tea, coffee and even wine! Were greatly appreciated. Everything was thought of such as spices and oil in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathroom. Parking was easy and the location was great. Communication from our hosts was also very good.

The cottage was clean and furnished to a very high standard. There were condiments in the cupboard tea and coffee provided as was milk and sugar. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The bathroom too had top quality hand gel, shampoo and body wash and the towels were soft and fluffy.

Sadly, the cottage was not really suitable for an elderly lady and a 13 year old dog. The stairs were very steep for someone with arthritis and the dog found the wooden floors very frightening. There were no grab rails in the bath and though of the highest quality it was too deep for me. A non slip mat would be useful

Everything was perfect, i highly recommend this property, its a lovely clean modern cottage with everything you need. We really enjoyed our time here and everything was in easy walking distance. No need to drive anywhere, shops, restaurants and pubs.

A non slip mat in the shower would be a good idea. Everything else was great.

The location was perfect for visiting Parkgate and surrounding area. This is a self catering property with a fully fitted kitchen. However, we only used the toaster for making a breakfast.

There was nothing to dislike.
