The Nook Cottage, Parkgate, Wirral

The Nook is very well and often innovatively appointed. The kitchen is equipped to a high standard as is the bathroom. The smart TVs in the lounge and bedroom provide access to news and entertainment. Netflix for an evening film is quite welcome.

The steep staircase is a challenge, especially for 2 septuagenarians normally residing on one level in an apartment served by a lift. Some of the broadcasting hubs on the TVs such as BBC Sounds have not been brought on stream.

Beautiful cottage and immaculately clean. Plenty of parking and on the main road of Parkgate, less than a 1 min walk to pubs and restaurants etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we can’t wait to return. Fliss and Ronnie were really helpful and quick to respond to any messages. Great WiFi connection for those who need to work whilst away and everything you need to cook/clean provided. Thanks again x

Everything!!! 😃 Immaculately kept and tastefully decorated, with a lovely small yard, a super comfortable bed and a kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. In addition, we were greeted upon arrival with a welcome message, a gift, lots of basic essentials and an excellent handbook that had all the information we could possibly have asked for.

Steep stairs but this is a very small price to pay for such a wonderful property.

Fantastic location - right by the shore, close to numerous facilities. The property was incredibly well designed - stylish and practical to make it a great luxury break.

The only thing we can think of is that a slightly bigger sofa would have suited our elderly frames!

Very well equipped with everything we needed - awesome non-stick pans in the kitchen! Great communication from the host before and during our stay. Comfortable and clean.

Fabulous little cottage on the front at Parkgate just yards away from pubs, coffee shops etc. Lovely modern decor and attention to detail; immaculately clean & very comfortable. Everything you need is provided. We would definitely stay again.
