This is going to be beautiful and safe hotel... but very NEW for now. Still a work in progress. Built not for the claustrophobic. Plenty of room amenities. Breakfast on the go. And is located in a nice neighborhood.

The Room Smelt Musty Smell on Arrival and with No Windows made it impossible to get Rid of the Smell. My First night I was constantly annoyed by 2 fly's, had insects in the room, No daily housekeeping unless you actually go and ask them to Clean! No change of towels, soap or shampoo. Stayed 8days and it was very uncomfortable. Breakfast leaves Alot to be desired with No Eating Area. Just stand and eat or go to your room and eat with fly's! The Hotel is under Construction still so it's very dusty and noisy! Definitely will Not Return. Worst Hotel Experience I've ever had.

Bel Air was a life saver after a terrible experience at another hotel in Georgetown. It is under construction so there's that but not a deal breaker. There are some mosquitoes in the hallway due to the construction so be prepared to spray your room. Breakfast comes in to go containers in the lobby, only gripe was how small the hot cups are so you are refilling a couple times. Security was a great help with moving outside tables out of the rain. Also the front desk had taxi drivers on hand, shout out to Mr.Roy and David so we were able to call on when we needed transportation. Overall it was a positive experience, the staff was helpful and took immediate action in anything we needed. I would recommend staying here and would definitely return.

The staff at the Bel Air Hotel were friendly and accommodating. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. I will stay at this hotel on my next visit. Shout out to Michael and Shanill who made every effort for a wonderful stay, thank you.

I had an amazing stay at the Bel Air Hotel in Guyana! From start to finish, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful but Robin and Michael truly went above and beyond. Robin made sure I had breakfast every morning, helped me get taxis when I needed them, and even recommended fantastic local spots to eat when transportation was limited. Her attention to detail and care really made a difference. Michael was equally incredible. When I couldn’t find a taxi one day, he personally drove me himself without being asked or expecting anything in return. That level of dedication is rare and genuinely appreciated. While everyone at the hotel was friendly and professional, Robin and Michael stood out the most. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Bel Air Hotel to anyone visiting Guyana. 10/10 experience!

I was told that I would be refunded for two days of my stay. The shower overflow with water. The coffee pot had mole in it. It was very dirty. The pro the staff were kind and nice.
