Beautiful room in a beautiful neighborhood, close to a quaint waterfront street with small shops and restaurants. It was clean and had a generally excellent layout. The room is small but has fabulous amenities (sink/microwave/coffee, counter space, desk, TV, etc) and we never felt cramped. Stayed with my mom and we never felt cramped, but I would not recommend trying to stay with more than 2 people here unless one is a smaller child. The soap in the bathroom smelled SO good. Property owner was very responsive to questions. The LIRR train station (best way to get into the city) is about a mile, and the walk is absolutely beautiful, but if you do not want to walk or use an uber to get to the station, be aware of this. An uber to the station was highly reasonably priced and fast availability in general.

It wasn’t an issue for either my mom or I, but the entryway and bathroom were both very narrow, and would be difficult for taller or larger people to navigate or be comfortable in. Again not an issue but something to be aware of.

Beautiful studio..Had Netflix and Amazon prime video. Appreciated that! Pillows were really awesome and bed was very comfortable. Nicely decorated. Lovely colors.

Bathroom space too small. Floor wasn't clean.

"Comfy, welcoming stay."

I stayed with Omar and his family for a short overnight at JFK. The host met me, let me in, helped me with my luggage, provided me an overview of the room and amenities. This is a huge plus for middle-aged woman traveling alone exhausted from a long journey! The room was comfortable, well appointed things were easy to find, it was very clean. And I have to know that the mattress was very comfortable with a memory foam top, and buttery soft sheets. This was also very welcome after two weeks in a country where people sleep on mattresses that feel like wooden boards. I slept well early in the morning to go back to the airport refreshed.

A little side table next to the bed would’ve been great for charging and placing my smart phone on.
