Great location, nice staff, lovely shower.

You get exactly what you expect for the price: a basic yet comfortable bed. The rooms have everything that's needed, incl a small table and a wardrobe. The shared bathroom is cleaned regularly. The staff is attentive and helpful :) There are multiple breakfast options

Very cosy and comfortable. It was close from the ferry and bus terminal and we could walk from there and towards there. Also they provided bikes for rental as well which made getting around the old town so much easier.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and even gave a breakfast to go, when we were leaving very early on our day of departure. It is located a short walk to the port and is in a quiet neighbourhood.

The place itself was okay, the room was pretty small and dated. I understand that Uruguay is considered expensive, but I don't think this was great value for money. Honestly, I would suggest just staying in Montevideo and doing Colonia as a day trip as it can be done in a few hours

The location is close to the bus station and ferry terminal to Argentina. But not central to the historical quarter. The bedding sheets were comfortable.

The property is not well maintained. I had room 5 which came with a private bath and it was very dated. The pictures on the profile were probably of other rooms. There appeared to be mold in the bathroom, lots of marks on the walls, the tiles in the communal areas were cracked, the door handle to the property was broken (although it still worked). The door handles to the bedrooms were so old and had not been oiled so they creaked. Therefore when someone in a room with shared toilet went to use the toilet in the night you could hear their door creaking loudly. The owners do bare minimum to maintain this place. It is not well loved.

The door was metal and the lock needs fiddling a bit. As a result, they make a lot of noise.
