Wonderful friendly hosts and a very spacious room in a quiet area. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared.

The location is not great if you don't have transportation. There are no real options for lunch and dinner nearby. The hosts will call a tuk-tuk or taxi but we had trouble finding transportation back.

I had a wonderful stay at Periyar Villa Homestay. The room was large airy and well done up with a sofa, electric kettle and necessary items like tea bag sugar etc so that i could make a hot drink anytime i wanted. It had a nice balcony and also a swing. The stay was surrounded by a lot of greenery. And when ever I sat on the swing the view and environment was soothing and had a calming effect. The room and also washroom was very very clean and tidy. Like we say spotless clean. They went out of the way to make my stay memorable. The breakfast was awesome. So many items were served including fruits and juice. The highlight was visit to their huge spice farm. I got to see a variety of herbs and spices. I was also able to pick up spices from their store. I was spoilt for choice. The variety was huge and absolutely fresh and genuine. They even helped me by couriering all that I bought. I also got good discount I would give my stay 10/10. Will definitely return again but for a longer stay. The hostess and host are beautiful and good abd genuine human beings who will go to any length to make one stay comfortable. I recommend every one visiting Thekady to stay at Mr.Taj and Rehana' homestay. I returned with the satisfaction of having made good friends forever. Thank you Rehana and Mr.Taj.

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Villa mit ganz reizenden Gastgebern, die uns immer behilflich waren. Die Touren waren allesamt ganz großartig organisiert. Ganz besonders hervorheben möchte ich die sehr gute Gastfreundschaft und das äußerst schmackhafte Essen. Wir kommen definitiv wider zu euch❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Periyar Villa. The rooms were clean and spacious, the location was peaceful, and the hosts were very kind and helpful. Highly recommended for families visiting Thekkady!

The stay at Periyar Villa was comfortable and the rooms were clean. But when we had to vacate suddenly, they didn’t reduce any amount, which felt disappointing. Except for that, everything else was fine

The hosts were very lovely and welcoming. The food was delicious authentic Kerala breakfast. We had little kids, for whom we needed to prepare food and Rehna and her family were very accommodating. The rooms were huge with a balcony attached in every room.
