Snug on the Tweed

We liked the apartment and the fact that the owners paid particular attention to detail. It's the best equipped place we have ever stayed at and the fact that we were welcomed with a bottle of fizz and some chocolates was amazing.Also, the touch of having some milk in the fridge was fantastic. Well done to Nicola and Alistair, you are the perfect hosts.

Lovely upper floor flat. Quiet area next to the docs. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Appreciated the welcome gifts of fizz & chocs. Milk & bottled water supply in fridge. Tea. Coffee & sugar too. Very thoughtful host! Enjoyed walks in & around the town, parks & river walks. Very picturesque. Visited Holy island & Bamburgh castle which are a short drive away.

we were staying there between Xmas & New Year & as expected, many of the independent cafes / shops were closed due to festive break. We will plan to return in the Spring/ Summer & visit the beaches.

What a fantastic little apartment. Situated in a really quiet location right on the Tweed. Just a short walk across the bridge into central Berwick. Really well equipped and very comfortable for two. The separate bedroom is a real plus.

This was such a home from home. The location was perfect. So close to the bridges over into Berwick centre. Easy parking right outside. Warm, cosy, and welcoming. The attention to detail was fabulous. Clear instructions on how to work appliances, etc, well stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook. Simple touches such as tea, coffee, and milk for a cuppa as well as a lovely bottle of fizz and chocolates - perfectly timed as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We also did a trip to Edinburgh which was great with the station being a 20 minute walk. Some lovely walks too. Old town walls and lighthouse. Found the very welcoming Bearclaw brewery in Spittal. Worth a visit! We are already planning our return next year.
