Snug on the Tweed

High quality furniture and equipment. Location for Berwick-on-Tweed good. Parking easy outside.

Bed a little soft for us.

It was well equipped for self catering, a really comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, quiet location. The bottle of Prosecco and chocolates were a very nice surprise, and the milk in the fridge for that cup of tea on arrival was much appreciated. Good location for walking into the town or to Spittal beach in the other direction.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit temperamental, and the shower itself was a bit of a tight squeeze for a larger person.

Very comfortable little apartment with everything provided, in an attractive location on the Tweedmouth side of the river, just opposite an old church. Excellent comfy bed. Asda nearby, plus Chinese and chippy.

Had a leaking gutter issue which the owners were very apologetic about - it just was one of those things and I don’t think they’d let it happen again.

Thanks for the Prosecco, very welcoming and a nice touch. I really enjoyed my stay at the Snug it's a lovely little place and the location is perfect. A short walk in each direction for the beach or a walk round the walls in Berwick. With time for a boat trip and a walk inland following the river, this was a great place to explore the area.

Good location. Very close to the harbour. Lovely to come outside of the door and see so many swans. Asda and Lidl and pub and smaller supermarket and takeaways all close by. Easy, 5 minute walk into Berwick upon Tweed. Property is upstairs. Everything you need in a kitchen for a short stay. Tea and coffee provided and an extra bonus of Prosecco and chocolates. Thank you. Bed comfortable and bedroom spacious with storage space. Bathroom has some places for putting toiletries. Plenty of plug sockets throughout property.

Similar, to other properties we have been to…a tendency to put large vases of dried/fake flowers everywhere, in some cases limiting what could be storage space. Eg two plug sockets on landing….very handy. Monster of a vase and fake flowers in the way, however. Similarly, in the lounge and bathroom, more flowers. Ok, they look nice, but take away valuable storage space for guests.
