Maybe having a tv in the masters bedroom would have been more relaxing .Although not having one there made me spend more time with my family watching the TV together and enjoying family time.

Spotlessly clean, warm and well appointed. We'd never been to the area and it was delightful. We hiked up Pendle Hill which was ace. Clitheroe is lovely. The site is beautifully managed and we saw a heron on the lake! They'd put a Christmas tree in the lodge which was a lovely touch.

The lodge is surprisingly close to a busy main road, so whilst the view is great, and the site itself is peaceful, it is rather noisy from traffic. Out ahead of you is the rolling Pendle Hill; behind you is a McDonald's and retail park on an A road. The road is well screened off but a little distracting.

The lodge was absolutely stunning. Very comfortable and spacious. The decor was tasteful and modern. Well equipped with everything you may need. A card and a present were left for my dog which I thought was a lovely touch. The park itself is well maintained and clean and there are some beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Communication with the host was excellent. I was well informed as to what was included, how to get there and what to do upon arrival. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
