Decently furnished for a static caravan (it's not a true building so 'lodge' isn't accurate - the walls are thin).

Extremely noisy as it's so close to the bypass, and the area is notorious for 'boy racers' with souped-up cars and noisy engines. Combine this with the property's thin walls, and lack of sleep is a problem.

The property was located in a ideal setting. Quiet and tranquil perfectly positioned with a lovely view of the lake and surrounding fields, hills and wildlife. The retreat was very clean and well equipped, large fridge and freezer, plenty of cutlery and glassware. Positioned only 10 minutes drive from either Whalley village or Clitheroe so plenty of things to do. We used Pendle View Retreat for a quiet relaxing couple of days away and it’s certainly didn’t disappoint. I would very much recommend staying here. The owners were very happy to accommodate any needs you may have. I will be looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Maybe some extra pillows

Location good for access to Clitheroe and the surrounding area, lodge park setting very nice with the lake. The lodge was good with essentials tea, coffee, jam, butter, milk made available. Lodge decor nice very nice kitchen with all items you need. Comfy sofa, beds and shower was spacious and good hot / powerful water.

Traffic from the nearby road was loud particularly in the morning. Didn't like message from owners requesting £30 per pet when Booking.com com clearly states Pets are allowed. No extra charges. Message receive 4 days before. "Quick reminder that if you're planning to bring your furry friends along , there is a £30 pet fee. Also didn't appreciate email at 01:15 on Sunday morning check out day asking what time we're going to check out. Sending emails to guests at 01:15 in the morning?

The hosts were amazing we had a few niggles with the gas supply etc but they came straight out and fixed it and couldn't have been kinder

Nothing really - a couple of minor hiccups which could happen to anyone and were a fluke. The most important thing is that the location, home and customer service were excellent.
