City Centre Apartments, Free Parking - Quality City

Location was great, nice apartment too.

The smell of cigarette smoke in the apartment

Inside the apartment was spacious and light.

I didn’t feel safe. The security of the building was compromised by the side door to the car park being permanently propped open. We used the front door code system to get in but could probably have just pushed the door open. The rest of the time we did just push the door open. There were a few young men hanging around in and outside the building, although they were not threatening, why were they there? There were two cigarette butts on the stairs. On arrival at our apartment on the second floor, the large window was wide open and the ratcheted opening control was broken. One of the doors to another apartment had two handwritten notices stuck on the door saying “ Don’t knock on the door” and then “ Don’t knock on the f**king door”. I was too warm at night because I couldn’t keep the window open due to the strong smell of people smoking marijuana (shadows by the street doorway) into the early hours of the morning. There was also a lot of traffic noise, but that is not totally unexpected in a city centre. The off street parking was well maintained but the cul-de-sac itself was choked with cars on arrival from the busy garage opposite. It is an untidy/dirty side street off a main road.

I have never been in a bed as uncomfortable as the suite room ,l couldn't sleep all night. It was like sleeping on a board Very uncomfortable and charged that price? Not happy at all

A wonderful two-bedroom apartment, very large and spacious. It’s within a short distance of Birmingham’s main station and the Bullring shopping centre. I hope to return again.”

The apartment was clean and well equipped. Carpets were a little grubby and sofa and beds could do with being replaced. Property located with easy reach of city centre.

The property is located in a run down area opposite garages with written off cars parked on the street. We were booked for 2 nights but left after the first night due to being woken several times from 2.30am with men ringing the intercom bell. We then had several knocks on the apartment door for another hour with a man loitering outside our apartment door. As a family of 3 females we were very frightened. The building is frequented by male visitors throughout the night coming and going in cars. The main door into the building is broken and unlocked allowing anyone to get into the building. There is no security and I wouldn’t recommend this property to any lone female visitors. The building was also smelling strongly of cigarettes and other substances.

Great location for utilita arena. Spacious apartment and good price

No hot water in ensuite shower. Mouldy smell in main bathroom. Cigarette butts all through communal areas up the stairs
