"Good value stay"

Easy parking and check in Room was large and had everything we needed

Room 3 was slightly noisy - could hear what sounded like extractor fans going off and on , apart from that nothing else to dislike

"Excellent, Adderbury is a charming and picturesque place and the Red Lion was first rate."

9.0

The breakfast was excellent with good, cheerful and attentive service. It was not too fancy and provided all that most people would want.

Little, really. It didn’t pretend to be anything other than a good pub with accommodation. Our room was huge with settee and easy chairs. The stairs up were steep and would put some people off.

"beautiful location, helpful staff which made the stay as relaxed as it could be"

8.0

The staff were extremely helpful and did all they could for us. We had breakfasts and evening meals which were good with lots of options. Our room was sizable and had all we needed; it was quiet even though we were at the front of the pub. The village is beautiful- we overlooked the green- and we found a local walk around the lake which we enjoyed.

Two things to be aware of were the stairs which were a little challenging (it is an old building) but we were offered help with our luggage, and the hardness of the bed- which suits some people but not others.

"A mostly nice stay"

8.0

We stayed for one night for a family wedding and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was nice, was good service from the staff.

Room was close to the front door so heard other guests going up to the stairs. The room was also on the ground floor, with the pub garden in front. Both of these reasons made the room fairly noisey quite late in to the night.
