They have lots of lovely decorations and artwork all over the building, with a surprising number of beautiful sitting rooms and porches. For breakfast they had a great selection of fresh fruits and some reasonably nice eggs, bacon, and sausage, in addition to various breads and cereals. The whole place was very fun to explore and spend time in!

To me the eggs and sausage tasted about like you would expect a normal hotel’s eggs and sausage to taste — kind of dry. It’s only worth mentioning, though, because everything else about the inn (and even the rest of the breakfast) was so wonderful that something normal caught me by surprise!

The location was excellent for our trip itinerary and the building is quite magnificent. Very good free hot breakfast with bacon, egg, and potatoes and various continental options. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the fascinating history of the property. Beautifully decorated with many antiques and very clean.

Most of the rooms are absolutely beautiful and quite spacious, but our room was one of the smallest and the mattress was a bit uncomfortable. Since we booked the night before, it would have been nice if they would have upgraded us to one of the larger rooms, since they were almost all unoccupied.

This location was beautiful and family owned. They were very proud of the mansion and wanted to tell you all about it. It was nice to hear the stories.

Absolutely beautiful!

Super comfortable and large bed. Warm room (in the middle of a cold snowy week)! The rooms were large very classic, with plenty of real or simulated antiques, and the esthetics were very well executed.
