Foxes Sea Side Retreat Deluxe Chalet is a lovely holiday home tucked away on the Kent Coast

This is a lovely little place to stay and it's fab for kids. We'll be back!

First off, this place was *affordable.* anyone who has traveled to the UK with 3 kids knows how expensive it can be finding hotel rooms to fit the whole family. This left us with finding short term rentals that provided amenities to make our stays more comfortable as well as wouldn’t break the bank. This chalet ticked nearly all the boxes of what we required. Chalet was very clean and well furnished! Toys were provided for little kids (though not needed for us as my kids are a bit older). Beds were comfortable and fans provided for the upstairs rooms. Two bathrooms was very helpful for a family of five. Location was amazing with close proximity to Walmer / Deal and Dover castle. Hosts were responsive to my questions and helpful. It’s obvious they try to make the place as comfortable as possible.

Nothing! It was awesome! By far one of our favorite places we stayed in the UK.

A good location near to beaches and castles. A friendly site - reception, pool staff and security guard all pleasant. There’s a shop for milk.

Although the high frequency areas are clean, there are cobwebs and dust about in the corners. The bathroom light was broken on arrival but following communication with the owner it was fixed the next day by a handyman. Taking towels extends to a shower mat, and you need to take handsoaps for bathrooms and kitchen.

Great location, beautifully decorated chalet. Very comfortable and warm beds.

I forgot that we needed lots of pound coins for the meter. But once I'd found them, no problem.

Location (close to beach, nice pubs, Deal), Cleanliness, Very equipped kitchen/living room, Indoor Swimming pool, Safe play area for kids, Quick communication with very kind Owner Emily.

Frying pan was bit aged with peeled, but when I let Emily know on check-out day, she quickly responded that she will check it on the same day, so I'm sure she has taken care of it by now :)

Nice location, close to the beach and pubs, lovely swimming with very warm water. Accommodation has everything inside, great for kids, very warm inside lovely heating, kids really enjoyed.

All was perfect

We had such a wonderful family holiday here. The chalet was everything we needed and more, with plenty of space and beautifully clean. The holiday park itself is really well maintained and managed, with easy access to the pool and other facilities. We made the most of the on-site coffee van whenever it was open and enjoyed frequent trips to the beach, Deal and Walmer. Highly recommend Betteshammer Park for bike rides! We hope to return frequently.

We could have done with some lighter duvets in the hot weather. But everything else was perfect.
