The property is conveniently located near the main activities in Kaikoura. It is perfectly maintained, all the accommodations looked really fun and our yurt was way more spacious and comfortable than we expected. The staff is friendly and welcoming, they take great care of their animals and share their knowledge with the guests during the daily feeding tours.

Nothing, we liked it all!

Great place to stay - very unique accommodations surrounded by a small farm. Our rooms were part of a renovated 1800s train car. My 11yo son had a blast feeding the llamas, alpacas. pigs, ducks, chickens and deer. The property is very private and quiet at night - just what we were looking for. We hope to visit again.

Unique it certainly is! But also comfortable, clean and hospitality great including introducing the animals and education in free range! Bed was super comfortable - and shower was really good! A camping experience and once in a life time experience sleeping in a house bus! The dogs loved it too!

This is the third time we have stayed at Wacky Stays, trying to get through all the different accommodation on offer. We like the fact its 5 mins out of town in the countryside. The deer came for extra lettuce and the sheep had the run of our garden. We took part in the 5pm animal feeding. Great area for kids.
