Tsuki-Akari Takayama - Japanese Traditional House with Open-air Bath

We absolutely loved our stay!! The place is located in a great area and the apartment literally has everything you need. The beds are super comfortable, the wash machine was fantastic and everything was spotless clean. I would definitely recommend this place to any couple or family wanting to explore Takayama.

Lovely Japanese house in a beautiful village. Situated next to a small creek and eating options. There is a gorgeous little garden with a bath tub which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Nothing was bad.

We couldn’t fault the facilities at this property. There was the convenience of a washer and dryer as well as a bit more space to spread out. A thoughtful gift was provided on arrival and there were some cooking products provided which was so helpful. The bath and garden were an absolute highlight and were used every one of the three nights we stayed. Just delightful!

This is a modern, beautiful little house with many comfortable areas, a fantastic washing machine and dryer, a charming garden in a quiet beautiful neighbourhood of Takayama. The wi-fi works perfectly, I had to work remotely and had no problems at all. This was our best stay in our trip to Japan.

I love the location of the property, it is within walking distance to the main street with all the shops and restaurants. Our family were extremely satisfied with how clean the propery was presented and how easy it was to use the laundry including dryer and washing machine (everything was preloaded and it is so handy!)
