The home was absolutely beautiful and great.

The AC never worked in the movie theater room. And masterbedroom had a funky smell like a dead animal in the vents.

location and fishing was great.

The gate on the deck was broken and in the garage, I went to home depot and got heavy duty hinges and replaced it.

"Inconvenience - Christmas 2025 Edition"

I like that 12 months ago I had a great time with my family at this house. My recent stay, during the week of Christmas 2025, was an inconvenient experience. The host was responsive, but this house needs some attention in cleanliness and maintenance. I do not recommend booking here after my recent stay.

A person was at the house still cleaning when we arrived for check-in. We arrived at 3:45 pm. Check-in was supposed to be at 4 pm. The cleaning person didn't leave until 5:03 pm. (We were given an hour later at check-out to compensate for the hour of time the cleaning person used of our stay) Our stay was during cold/flu season, and the house wasn't given a good, deep clean between guests. In my opinion, the house is a bit much for 1 person to clean. We had to kill several roaches during our stay. That's disgusting and NOT okay! There are a number of appliances in the home that either no longer work or aren't functioning properly. It's apparent this home is not well-maintained. I know because our recent stay was our 2nd time at this house. 12 months ago, we arrived to a clean house, didn't see a single roach during our stay, and appliances were working properly.

This was my second time staying in this beautiful home, the staff was very professional and took care of all our needs. I plan to come back again, again and again.

Some of the TV's in the bed rooms don't work and there are 4 main doors in the home that lead to the outside, if you could upgrade the locks on those doors for more security would be great.
