Beautiful views of Arthur's Seat from the living room. The flat has all the basics that you need and is comfortable for 4 adults for a few days. The hosts are communicative. Plenty of bus options to/from the city centre. The flat is reasonably quiet despite being on a busy road.

The beds are not super comfortable; kind of springy. The location is alright but a 20-25 min walk to the city centre. It would be better to have mirrors on the walls of each room and the bathroom as the only large one is in the hallway which makes getting ready in the morning awkward. There was some trouble with the checkout time being advertised and confirmed as 11 am but the hosts insisting on 10 am. A call with booking sorted that out, and we left before 11 am as originally agreed. I don't think that they were trying to intentionally mess us about, but I see now that it correctly says 10 am on their page. :) All's well that ends well. Note that there is no lift and a good number of stairs to reach the top floor.

View from the living room was really good and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cutlery. The open living room was also nice

The mattresses were super uncomfortable. You can feel the springs beneath you when sleeping. The pictures make it look like there are 2 bathrooms but there is only one The light in one of the bedrooms just wouldn't turn on The booking says check out is 11 am but we got messages and several calls from the owners on the day saying that check out is at 10 am, which we were not aware of. Convenient location, amazing views, close to bus stop, responsive and considerate host. The 26 bus in front of the flat takes you to Portobello beach or into the main part of Edinburgh - super easy and convenient!

Beautiful apartment in a good location. A reasonable walk to the centre. All the facilities you could possibly need. Very clean and comfortable. Owners were quick to answer our questions and very helpful.

Not sure why you keep the broken rocking chair in the window!

The location is about 30mins walk out from the center of Edinburgh, the views from the property are stunning and look straight onto Arthur's Seat. The flat was very spacious and nicely decorated as well as being well stocked with cooking items.

The flat is accessed up a few flights of curved steps so lifting the pram up was fairly difficult. Also when arriving found that the freezer has been left slightly ajar so was unusable for the trip (annoying after buying frozen food before reaching the property), as well as missing sections of curtain pole in one of the bedrooms meaning the curtain didn't fully close. Although did contact the owners who said they would resolve, just wasn't during our stay.
