Beautiful property, excellent staff, safe, clean

Our room flooded because the shower drain did not work properly. Literally an inch of water all over the floor of almost the whole room. Nothing was offered to make up for it, not even a room change or a certificate for a complimentary dinner at a restaurant.

Absolutely amazing experience - would highly recommend. The staff were incredible and knowledgeable. We had the pleasure of Davide telling us all about his Aulis, and Julia explaining so much about the hotel, the artifacts and the concepts. Location is also perfect.

Nothing. It was great

This was immersion experience. The hotel was designed exactly like the time period 400 B.C. and prior. The rooms were cave dwellings and every detail(furniture, lighting, linens, etc.)was meticulously created to mimic the era with some minor modern conveniences. It was so unique and stunning at the same time. We got to participate in a ritual theater performance and experience the food, music and life as it was in ancient times. We even had tunics to wear! The underground pool and hot tubs were magical. The staff were lovely and embodied the era. So helpful, so kind and loved to explain everything and answer any questions we had. You have to experience it to believe it.

Staff were really good- friendly and attentive. Pool was lovely as were the jacuzzis. Rituals were interesting! Breakfast was good and plentiful - but may not suit everyone (vegans, dairy intolerant).

No hot drinks in the rooms.

In jeder Beziehung aussergewöhnlich. Wenn man etwas nennen kann ist es die Indoorpoolanlage.

Lots of finishing touches to make you feel that you step back in time. The modern amenities were camouflaged. This help created an authentic feel to the room.

There were some stairs to get up to the rooms and the lobby. The hotel staff, however, did help with getting the luggage from the van up to the room and back again. They also provided a lift from the parking garage to the hotel and then back again. This was necessary for us since we had a rental car.
