MOYSEION Matera - Real-life experience in the distant past

La piscine et l’espace détente sont fabuleux. La chambre extrêmement confortable (matelas fermé et souple), l’accès facilité grâce au shuttle mis à disposition gratuitement depuis le parking Damasco, les petits déjeuners sobres mais très très bons (pas de buffet gargantuesque où la moitié finit à la poubelle, plutôt des produits bien choisis en quantité raisonnable), le personnel très aimable et disponible pour toute demande, certains sont même musiciens et vous offrent des démonstrations d’instruments d époque (magnifique découverte de l’aulos, une double flûte dont un membre du personnel joué formidablement bien grâce à une grande maîtrise technique)

Parfait très dépaysant et reposant

A relaxing, calming, cool retreat in the middle of hot Matera. The room was spacious and well appointed and the pool is an oasis of calm. The staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was really delicious - lots of very nice home made cakes, died fruits, nuts, cheeses, breads. We only stayed one night due to our schedule but wish we had had a second.
