Second stay here. Great central location to all pubs, restaurants and shops. Comfortable and clean. House slightly cold first day/night due to low outside temps but heat boost function enabled control of this issue.

Had been before so everything as expected

The property is spacious.

The heating didn’t work! We arrived late on the 31st October, the house was freezing, we could see our breathe in the bedrooms, there was no instruction booklet and after trying for an hour we had to contact the property owner, they informed us they were heading to bed and we were left with no heat. Next morning we were woken @6am by an alarm, it transpires it was the electricity top up meter which had ran out! Heating was still not working, we contacted the owners to be told they would ring us with a top up code which we then had to input, who uses a top up meter in an air bnb? We spent a large part of the day trying to make the heating work, when we enquired about back door keys we were told that all the house keys had been ‘lost’ by the previous occupants and the front door key we had was a spare so we couldn’t open the back door, so we only had one way out in the event of a fire, extremely dangerous plus we then had no idea if the previous occupants would return and if our property was safe as the locks had clearly not been changed. The second bathroom was so cold we couldn’t shower there and was damp with mold growing on the walls and ceiling. The master bedroom had terrible blinds and a gap in the frame of the left window, not ideal in November with no heating. When we again requested someone come fix the heating or we would request a refund the heating started to work, however this was our last few hours in the property and even our request for a late check out due to all the trouble was denied. Never ever stay at this property, worse I have been too.

Lovely little house and in a great central location. The house was very clean and comfortable with ample facilities to make your stay a good one. I honestly could not fault it at all, communication from the owner was warm and friendly and if you are visiting this part of the world and looking for somewhere to stay I would recommend checking this place out.

The host communicated well regarding check-in time and how to get the key from the lockbox. The property was clean, modern decor and comfortable. The kitchen had all modern appliances, plenty of tea towels, fairy liquid, cutlery, dishes etc. The bathroom and shower room had plenty of towels and toilet rolls! The location was great, the property is just 2-3 min walk from the steps that lead to the promenade. The street itself was quiet, not too much traffic going past, especially at night.

The parking… we couldn’t always get parked outside the property. Had to park round the corner a few times, but was still parked close by so it wasn’t a big negative.
