Beautiful location with probably the best view in Dharamkot.

Very helpful staff. Picturesque restaurant with valley and mountain views, serving three meals a day which was handy when being wary of street food. The menu had a wide variety to select from and the staff were happy to provide whatever we wanted. My room was beautiful, clean and well appointed with views.

I'm quite tall (193cm) and even though the bed was wide enough to be king size, my feet hung off the end, which seemed to be quite common in India. The hill that Alt Life Luxe (JR Resort) is on, is quite steep, so any venture down into Bhagsu, McLeod Ganj, or Dharamashala requires a cab ride back up (unless you're fit and up for a challenge.) which can be quite exciting on their narrow, windy roads.

Great location, away from the traffic and chaos of Macleodganj. Although arriving here by your own car could be challenging due to very steep incline and very narrow hill road. There is an option to park in Macleodganj and take a taxi however, I drove to the hotel. Staff is super courteous, went extra mile every time. We were a big group and quite demanding at times, they did everything with an infectious smile every time.. Well done! Nights are the most beautiful here as it provides panoramic views of Macleodganj and Dharamshala.

Food department can improve in communication and service and be more thoughtful and empathetic. This brings down the overall service satisfaction levels.

The property seemed to made well, they have tried to provide the amenities a hotel should have.

The staff is inefficient!! The towels in our room were dirty, they took 1.5 hours to get our breakfast. The fruits in that were stale! The drive to the hotel is uncomfortable, the road is pretty steep!
